What we collect
When you submit the quote request form we collect the inquiry type, your name, company name if you provide one, email address, phone number, and the shipment details you enter: service, origin, destination, cargo description, approximate weight or quantity, ready date and any additional notes. We also record the date and time of the submission and a reference code.
Why we collect it
We use this information to prepare a quote, answer your question, send requested documents, and keep a record of the request. We do not sell it and we do not use it for advertising.
Who can see it
Submissions are stored in our secure records system and are available to staff who handle quotes and documents. Service providers that host our website and records process the data on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests for [retention period, client to confirm], then delete them, unless the request became a shipment. Shipment records are kept for the period required by federal and state transportation and tax rules.
Requesting a copy or deletion
Email info@apamsforwarding.com or call 618-799-2636 with your reference code to receive a copy of your submission or ask us to delete it. We respond within 1 business hour. We may need to keep records that transportation or tax rules require us to retain.
